Twice a year, we offer a mystery quilt design. You don't know what it will look like when it's done, but that's the fun part! We know what it will look like, so we can help you pick out your fabric. We usually pull several collections for you to chose from. There are several weeks in between the mini classes so you have plenty of time to get it done by the end of March. The best part is, if you finish your top by the reveal party, you get a great gift from In Stitches! Each mini class lasts about 45 minutes. During that time, we will walk you through step by step and have examples of what has to be done. The reveal party is the best because the quilts look so different when different fabrics are being used.
$25 sign up fee (covers teacher fee and cost of pattern)
Mini classes usually begin around 10 am, but that may vary if the group wants to start earlier.
Other dates are Feb. 24th, clues 3 & 4
March 10th, clues 5 & 6
March 31st, final reveal party
Have trouble getting your borders to fit your quilt? We will cover how to measure properly, what to do with bias edges and pieced borders.
$10 class fee

Divide and Design:
Do you feel overwhelmed when gazing upon a quilt feeling anxious that something creative and beautiful is beyond your scope? Have you observed pieces designed by quilters and thought "where do they come up with such originality?" You are not alone, and the cure for such reluctance is just a class away. With Lisa's 3 step process you will approach the idea of quilting in a completely new way. Over the course of this class, you will divide large areas of your quilt into manageable smaller spaces, gaining the confidence and the skills needed to produce a design that will make your quilt top sing and have you smiling with pride! You will soon discover that anyone can transform the everyday quilt into a masterpiece, and moreover turn those special quilts into treasured heirlooms. So don't let quilter's agoraphobia keep you from doing what you love, let Lisa's class provide the freedom needed to bring out the quilter in you!
